About Us

East Africa Association for Research and Development is a research and development organization that seeks solutions to social, economic and political challenges in East Africa to help make communities throughout the region safer and more secure, healthier and more prosperous. DAD is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and committed to the public interest. Launched on May 2017 by a group of education experts, prominent social leaders and East African students who graduated from Turkish universities, DAD aims to develop the human capital of the region and produce up-to- date and accurate knowledge and analyses in the fields of politics, economy and society and inform policy makers, civil society organizations, businesses and the public on changing political, economic, social and cultural conditions of the region.
